We offer more than 65 qualifications and can deliver traineeships, compliance training, and a range of consulting services. TMG College Australia has been a trusted training solution to many of Australia’s most innovative organisations, providing training benefits for more than 15 years.
We work collaboratively with our clients as their Professional Development and Training Partner. This partnership supports training and professional development calendars and the mapping of our client’s Internal Training and Professional Development programs to Nationally Accredited Qualifications as a reward and recognition initiative.
We customise qualifications to reflect our clients short- and long-term Professional Development Plan. The courses can either be Workplace Based or Trainer facilitated Virtual Classroom, utilising our online platform or a blended delivery mode. Members of our team meet with our clients and their managers and department heads to customise and contextualise the training content and delivery mode.

We conduct a comprehensive Training Needs Analysis to define the training needs of individuals, a team and department, mapped to the current and future goals of our Clients and their business. The focus is on the job role of those involved and what skills and knowledge are required to perform that job to organisational expectations.
We also assist businesses to develop a learning and development strategy that fully utilises available Federal and State Government funded programs, including employer incentives. The relevant training is then tailored to organisational needs, resulting in increased productivity and a current skill set.
We could also conduct an “Eligibility Checklist” of all staff to identify those eligible for government funding. Our clients provide the Name and DOB of their employees, and we proceed with the eligibility check. Our team then provides a detailed eligibility report.
Our experience has been very positive with recognising the skills and expertise of loyal staff, upskilling staff, supporting the retention of staff and contributing to the existing culture of training and education that business needs to remain competitive. A workplace relevant qualification rewards your staff’s professional development activities, career progression and management aspirations.
A successful form of Reward and Recognition is mapping in-house training to Nationally Recognised Qualifications, through Recognition of Prior Learning, identifying the gaps in their knowledge, and training to those gaps.
We offer a streamlined Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process to assess Work Experience and relevant Formal and Informal Learning, including the recognition of internal and internal Professional Development Programs.
Our RPL program is a streamlined process for gathering information. Applicants can gather evidence including employment history and experience levels, answer a knowledge quiz and upload support documentation. At a glance, both Applicant and Assessor can see the status of the application, including gap training requirements.
Employer reports are generated and automatically emailed to current or past employers for verification.
The streamlined RPL process means your employees may be granted a credit towards a qualification that recognises their skills and knowledge gained through work experience, life experience and formal training. The qualification is a bonus in that it recognises their value to your organisation.
Many businesses choose a TMG workplace-coaching model that applies learning to real workplace tasks. These completed tasks then often suffice as evidence of competency to gain a qualification. Recognition is given for prior learning or workplace experience and competence.
With a wide selection of qualifications available and greater customisation of course units and training delivery options – there has never been a better time to partner with us.
We assume the administrative and training burden so that you can focus on enjoying the outcomes – increased productivity and employee satisfaction.
These days, it’s not just jobs in technology that are evolving quickly - it’s almost every job out there, and this makes it difficult for traditional training to keep up with fast-changing development needs.
Most employees today face new problems that they need to solve – and solve urgently. And to solve them, they need relevant, accessible training and materials. So how do you make sure that your employees can access the knowledge they’re looking for, at the exact moment they’re looking for it?
Just-in-time learning is an approach to individual or organizational learning and development that promotes need-related training be readily available precisely when and how the learner and their employer need it.
The concept of just in time training refers to only using effort when it’s needed, instead of ahead of time. This means gaining new knowledge or skills only when you need them, rather than in case you’ll need them.
Think of just in time training as “on-demand training”. It requires a flexible approach to learning. One that recognizes that people in different roles don’t need to learn the same skills, or access the same information at the same time.
Credentials of any kind are key markers of achievement and potentially important signals to employers of a candidate’s skills, capabilities and fit or an employee’s capability to evolve with the needs of the business.
Micro credentials are mini-courses that individuals choose to study to improve a skill found in a particular industry area. They are short, low-cost online courses that provide learners with a digital certification or a ‘digital badge’ when complete. This new learning concept continues to gain recognition and is highly sought after within the business landscape.
Micro credentials are delivered as ‘bite-sized’ chunks; illustrating the proficiency in a particular skill. They are developed with its particular industry in mind, ensuring that the course meets industry-specific needs, is relevant and is recognised by future employers. This new approach to professional development is personalised and generally transferrable.
By participating in the micro-credentialing process, people are exposed to a more systematic style of learning and training. It is a common occurrence that job-learned skills aren’t acknowledged, as there has never been a simple way of solidifying this knowledge via a recognised ‘badge’. Through the ability to build on these skills via a cumulative outlook, employees are provided with a structured approach in which they can measure and formalise the knowledge and skills learnt with ease.
This kind of professional learning provides a continuous progression for employees, both in their present role and in their professional career.
Micro Credentials offer short-form courses, credentials and pathways that meet the needs of industry and learners alike by providing a range of upskilling opportunities that could prepare all of us for a future of continuous, lifelong learning.
The micro-credentialing process results in the learner producing authentic evidence of learning that demonstrates their development of knowledge, skills, and competency in a particular area. The learning assists students to become familiar with situations, problems, or scenarios so that they can reflect meaningfully, construct and discuss their own solutions and concepts, and then creatively apply this new knowledge in meaningful ways in the workplace.
