The retail industry offers an exciting, fast paced working environment, which emphasises teamwork and customer service.
The nationally recognised SIR20212 Certificate II in Retail will prepare you for an entry-level position in the retail industry. Work would be undertaken in various retail store settings, such as specialty stores, supermarkets, department stores and retail fast food outlets.

SIRRINV001 – Receive and handle stock
SIRRMER001 – Produce visual merchandise displays
SIRXSLS002 – Follow point of sale procedures
BSBWOR204 – Use business technology
SIRXIND004 – Plan a career in retail
There are no entry requirements for this qualification. Applicant will be required to successfully complete an ACSF language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) assessment.
Learning (ACSF Level 2), reading (ACSF Level 2), writing (ACSF Level 2), oral communication (ACSF Level 3) and numeracy (ACSF Level 2) are desirable to participate in the course.
Successful completion of this qualification means you are eligible to enrol in the SIR30207 Certificate III in Retail
