SHB20216 Certificate II in Salon Assistant qualification is ideal for learners interested in a career in hairdressing. This is a preparatory qualification which provides a defined and limited range of basic skills and knowledge used in hairdressing salons by individuals who provide assistance with client services. These routine and repetitive tasks are completed under direct supervision and with guidance from hairdressers who manage the client service.

Entry Requirements

There are no entry requirements for this qualification. However students are expected to satisfy the TMG admission requirements. Learning (ACSF Level 2+), reading (ACSF Level 2+), writing (ACSF Level 2+), oral communication (ACSF Level 2+) and numeracy (ACSF Level 2+) are desirable to participate in the course.
