Program Overview

The HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance qualification covers workers in a range of work roles who provide assistance to health professional staff with the care of clients. It enables learners to become competent member of a hospital or aged care team providing support services to nursing staff and ward clerks with duties, such as: cleaning, Meal distribution, and transportation of clients.

  • Simulated workplace activities / Case studies
  • As part of this course, students will also be required to gain a minimum of 100 hours of work experience in a regulated health services environment. Students must have a Police Check prior to the commencement of their work placement.

Entry Requirements

Students must satisfy the following Age, English
and Academic requirements:

  • Age: must be 18 years or over
  • English Proficiency Level: an IELTS Band 5.5 or equivalent OR undertake a TMG English language test.
  • Academic: Successful completion of Year 10 or its equivalent.
