This qualification reflects the role of individuals with substantial experience in a range of settings and who are seeking to further develop their skills across a wide range of business functions.
This qualification is also suited to the needs of individuals with little or no vocational experience, but who possess sound theoretical business skills and knowledge that they would like to further develop in order to create further educational and employment opportunities.

Units of Competency
The BSB50215 Diploma of Business requires 8 units of competency:
BSBADM502 – Manage meetings
BSBADM504 – Plan and implement administrative systems
BSBHRM506 – Manage recruitment selection and induction processes
BSBRSK501 – Manage risk
BSBMKG501 – Identify and evaluate marketing opportunities
BSBMKG509 – Implement and monitor direct marketing activities
BSBFIM601 – Manager Finance
BSBINM601 – Manage knowledge and information
Students must satisfy the following Age, English
and Academic requirements:
- Age: must be 18 years or over
- English Proficiency Level: an IELTS Band 5.5 or equivalent OR undertake a TMG English language test.
- Academic: Successful completion of Year 12 or its equivalent.
Students who successfully complete this unit may wish to consider further study BSB60215 Advanced Diploma of Business or further studies in business disciplines in higher education.
