CHC50113 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care is suitable for educators in Early Childhood education who are responsible for developing planning, implementing and managing programs in early childhood services. At this level:

  • Workers have responsibility for supervision of other staff and volunteers

  • In most states it is the highest qualification required at director or service manager level.

Work placement

240 work placement hours (or currently working in the industry). Students must have the current Working With Children Check prior to the commencement of their work placement (WWC Check

Entry Requirements

There are no entry requirements for this qualification. Applicants will be required to complete an ACFS language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) assessment.

Learning (ACSF Level 4), reading (ACSF Level 4), writing (ACSF Level 4), oral communication (ACSF Level 4) and numeracy (ACSF Level 4) are desirable to participate in the course.
