This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty. The unit applies to all workers who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
Participants who complete this course will receive a Statement of Attainment in:
This course is delivered in two parts. A virtual theory component will need to be completed online first, followed by a day of face-to-face learning, 9.00am – 5.00pm.
First Aid certification is valid for three years except for the CPR component of the course, which is valid for 12 months and will need to be updated annually for you to keep your CPR certification current.
Please note that Students MUST attend both the online virtual theory session and face-to-face session.
