Do you have a natural ability for helping people? Are you involved in your community and value the lives of those with special needs?

On the 10th of October, 2018, the Federal Government announced an improvement to the access and support of the Disability Working Sector, with the purpose to advocate for 64,000 Australians with psychosocial disability, and their families and carers.

This announcement means that in 2019 a new stream in this area will be implemented progressively and it includes the employment of specialised planners and local area coordinators.

If you are thinking about turning your passion to help others into a career, the CHC43115 Certificate IV in Disability will be a suitable course for you. It reflects the role of workers in a range of community settings and clients’ homes, who provide training and support, empowering people with disabilities to achieve greater levels of independence and wellbeing.

There’s no better time to enter this morally rewarding career, with exponential job growth predicted over the coming years.
