SHB40216 Certificate IV in Hairdressing is ideal for Students who have completed Certificate III in Hairdressing and who wish to enhance & extend their training and career options. The qualification reflects the role of skilled senior hairdressers who use a range of highly developed sales, consultation and technical skills and knowledge to provide a broad range of hairdressing services to clients.
These senior hairdressers provide specialist services in one or more areas including haircutting, design, colouring and complex colour correction, trichology and chemical reformation. They work independently and many hairdressers at this level provide technical leadership, training and support to team members.

Entry to this qualification is open to individuals who have:
Students are required to undertake a Pre-Training Review including a Language Literacy and Numeracy Assessment.
These will assist with determining suitability into course entry and identification of any support needs.

Eligibility Criteria 1. You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident or New Zealand Citizen. 2. You must not have completed the same AQF level qualification or higher than the course you wish to enrol in, unless under 20 years of age on 1 January this year. 3. You must not have commenced or be scheduled to commence more than two Victorian Government subsidised courses this year; and 4. You must not be currently enrolled in two or more Victorian Government subsidised courses.
Traineeship incentives may be applicable on full time/ part time basis, subject to eligibility. Enrolment fees apply.
